General Information about Agistri Island, Saronic

Located in the heart of the Saronic Gulf, Agistri offers a good choice for short excursions from Athens. Surrounded by much greenery, this island has wonderful beaches and serene landscape, despite its small size.

Agistri has three villages: Megalochori (or Myli), Skala, which is the most tourist place, and Limenaria, which remain very secluded. Among the loveliest beaches of Agistri are Halikiada, Aponissos and Dragonera, while the most popular is Skala.

There are daily ferries from Piraeus to Agistri. The normal ferry arrives in the port of Skala in 90 min from Piraeus, while the hydrofoil arrives in the port of Myli in 50 min.
