POPULAR FERRY ITINERARIES

You will find below information about ferries from/to Kusadasi, photos and description of the port.

Kusadasi is a large tourist town on the western coastline of Turkey, just opposite the Greek island of Samos. The name of the town actually means bird island. As this is a regular cruise stop for many cruises in the Aegean and the Eastern Mediterranean Sea, Kusadasi gets very popular in summer. The beach front is lined up with many hotels, restaurants and shops, while there are some nice sandy beaches in a walking distance from the port.

In close distance to Kusadasi is the ancient Greek town Ephesus, where many tours go. Kusadasi as a town was founded in the 16th century as a Venetian colony. The Venetians also built castles in the region for protection against pirates and enemies. In the centuries that followed, Kusadasi became an important trade center. Today it is a tourist place with nice beaches and interesting historical monuments.
