Lesvos is a big island of the Eastern Aegean complex with lovely villages and famous for its fresh fish. Every summer, it gets a popular tourist destination.
Normal Ferries:
Many regular ferries connect Lesvos to Piraeus in about 10 hours. There are also ferries to Chios (2 h), Syros (5 h) and Mykonos (6 and 1/2 h).
Ferries are also connecting Lesvos to Thessaloniki, Kavala, Lemnos, Rhodes and other Dodecanese islands.
Excursion boats :
Many excursions boats in summer connect Lesvos to the opposite Turkish town of Ayvalik.
