The island of Skopelos, that belongs to the Sporades complex, is famous for its greenery, lovely beaches and picturesque villages. There are two ports on Skopelos, Skopelos town and Glossa, to connect the island with the mainland of Greece and the nearby islands by normal ferries or hydrofoils.
Vessels from Skopelos town:
Vessels need about 2 hours and a half to go from Skopelos town to Agios Konstantinos, 1 hour for Skiathos, 30 min for Alonissos, 30 min for Glossa village (on the northen side of Skopelos) and 2 hours and a half for Volos.
Vessels from Glossa village:
Vessels from Glossa village need 2 hours for Agios Konstantinos, 2 hours for Volos, 20 min for Skiathos, 1 hour for Alonissos and 30 min for Skopelos town.
