Departure on Piraeus map
Introduction:
The company Nel Lines was created in August 1972 in Mytilene town, Lesvos island, Greece, where it has its base. However, the company has two branches in Piraeus, the port of Athens, and many travel agents all around Greece and the Greek islands.
Nel Lines covers many itineraries and serves many Greek islands. Its vessels connect Crete to Athens, Athens to Eastern Aegean islands and Thessaloniki and Athens to most of the Cyclades islands. The company owns many vessels and the best are the high speeds Aeolos Kenteris, Aeolos Kenteris I and Aeolos Kenteris II. All these high speeds were built in France in 2000 and 2001 and are the most modern, well-equipped and quickest vessels of the Company. The other vessels are ferry boats and obviously less quick than its three high speeds.
The aim of the Company is to offer its passengers a comfortable and safe trip. That is why its itineraries are scheduled according to the demand of the season and the needs of visitors and inhabitants of the Greek islands.
