A light accident happened on March 25th at night, while the ferry boat Aeolos Kenteris of Nel Lines crashed on the marina of Athinios port, Santorini island, while it was trying to deck. The strong winds that were blowing over the Aegean that time led to a wrong handling during the decking process. Fortunately, all 20 passengers and 26 staff were safe, except for the lieutenant junior grade who got a light injury on the shoulder, and the damage on the vessel was not serious. Aeolos Kenteris is one of the fastest and most modern ferries in the Mediterranean. It was built in 2001 in France and that night it was traveling along the Cyclades islands.
