    Thank you for your feedback. We would like to inform you that Blue Star Ferries informed us on the date of your departure at 12:31 that your trip was canceled due to bad weather conditions and we informed you right away within 10 minutes via email and SMS.

    Kindly note that when a trip is canceled due to bad weather conditions this is something that is decided by the port authorities for your safety approximately 2 hours before departure time and their decision has to do with the wind speed in the area and the vessel type. So even if the sun is shining and the winds seem quite normal at the departure port, the conditions can be different in some parts of the scheduled itinerary.

    Please note that as per the terms and conditions of the ferry company that you accepted before proceeding with this booking: "If for any reason the travel is canceled due to the ship's responsibility, the fare is refunded without any further obligation of the shipping company towards the passenger." As you understand, this is something that has to do with the policy of the ferry company and not our own policy.

    Furthermore, be advised that Blue Star Ferries handles directly the claims for refunds from travelers and you can send them an e-mail with your complaint at cs.domestic@attica-group.com
