How to find your ferry in the port of Santorini (Athinios)

Athinios, the main passenger port of Santorini

Athinios Port in Santorini

All passenger ferries depart from Athinios Port in Santorini and arrive at the New Port of Mykonos (Tourlos). Keep in mind that there is a lot of traffic in both ports during the summer season.
The port is small and it is easy to find your ferry.

In any case, make sure to arrive at the port at least 1 hour in advance since there is a lot of traffic. Especially if you are traveling in high season, keep in mind that both in Mykonos and in Santorini, you will encounter traffic congestion around the port and you should make sure you get there on time.

Luggage

Luggage storage

Ferry companies have flexible policies when it comes to luggage and there is no specific bag number limit per person. However, each ticket-holder’s luggage shouldn’t exceed 40 kg or 0.5 cubic meters.
On the ship, you will find a luggage storage room for your suitcases, that can alternatively be kept next to you on the vessel.
We recommend keeping your personal items with you on board and storing the bulky baggage in the designated area.
