    It is silly that you cannot buy a ticket online but have to buy and pay online and then have to pick up the ticket in a shed at the harbour.
    It’s like that with all the Greek ferries but never the less silly.

    We would like to inform you that we agree that the ticket system in Greece is still quite old fashioned.
    Thankfully most of the major ferry companies nowadays offer the web check-in option, giving the possibility to the passengers to check-in online before their departure, without having to go to the port kiosk to pick up their boarding cards.
    Every year more and more ferry companies offer this solution and hopefully soon this will be possible for all of them.
    When making your booking with us, you are given clear instructions and information about the companies that offer the web check-in option.
    Regrettably, Dodekanisos Seaways that you travelled with does not offer this option yet but we hope that they will do so in the near future.

    Our trip to the Cyclades was perfect. We loved every island we visited. The website was easy to use and the instructions were clear. We were informed about a minor change in our boat's schedule and avoid us to wait for the ferry for more than an hour under the hot sun.     We contacted the ferry company to verify what exactly happened and why we weren't notified of their schedule change so that we could also let you know.
    They explained to us that they sent you an SMS on August 19 at 10:57 p.m. informing you of the change of departure time from Santorini, due to delays in the ship's previous route.
    As we can see in your reservation you had registered your mobile phone under the number 0033 06745***** while when it is used for international calls it should be registered without 0 after the country code. We can therefore assume that because of this, you have not received the SMS sent by the ferry company.
    We are always at your disposal for any further clarification.
