Great way to travel between islands, ferry was on time, staff was courteous. seats were very comfortable. booked online, was easy to pick up tickets in Paros (trip Paros-Athens). Ferry arrived exactly at time specified. i would definitely travel again with Blue Star-Patmos.

Corfu - Bari

Booking process was easy and successful but I can't say the same about getting the tickets because in the booking instructions there were no timetables of the agencies where we can do it . So, at first we came from Benitses to Kerkira on Sunday and discovered closed doors. Actually the trip to Bari was pleasant and comfortable despite the night time.

As far as the port kiosk is concerned kindly note that they are always open on time before departure in order to serve the passengers who wish to pick up their tickets and that consequently there was no need to pick them up on an earlier date. User friendly and easy to understand website that shows multiple ferry companies within Greece. I found that this website had the most destinations listed within Greece, as some of the other websites were limited only to the larger islands. You do pay a bit of a premium with all the extra fees, but picking up our tickets in Mykonos was very easy, and we were able to get all our tickets printed at once. I would say if you have a more packed itinerary that you may want to use this service to ensure all your ferries are secured, as some of them do book up. However if you are only planning to go to a couple islands you can probably book tickets upon arrival to Greece at the Ports.

Easy way to book ferries

I wasn't sure about how to book ferries in advance from the US, but I took a chance and did our whole trip this way: Athens(Pireaus)-Mykonos-Santorini-Amorgos-Folegandros-Athens(Pireaus). My only critique is that you can only book four ferries on one form - so I had to have another booking reference number for the last leg of my five ferry trip. When we got to Athens the taxi delivered us to the port and we went to a small ticket office in the parking lot right by the ferries. I wasn't sure it was the right office - as the email I received made me think I had to go to a FerriesinGreece travel agent - but it was super easy! The people in the office all speak English and they looked at the print outs of the emails I had with my booking numbers, and they printed out all my tickets for the whole trip. This was obviously the best thing to do, as we did not ever have to go to another office, and we could just walk on our ferries once we were in the islands. Great service!
