About AstypaleaAlthough Astypalea belongs administratively to the complex of Dodecanese, it is famous for the Cycladic architecture that amazes every visitor. Chora is constructed on the slopes of a hill and offers amazing view to the sea, while a Medieval Castle and few windmills stand at the top. Around the small fishing port below Chora, there are small white houses creating a totally magic landscape.
Between the houses, you will see chapels and traditional kafeneions. Over the last years, Astypalea has developed as an alternative destination for relaxing holidays. The beaches of Astypalea charm visitors with the crystal water and the impressive landscape. Few beaches are organized, but the majority is quiet and secluded.
