Luggage
Greek ferry companies are flexible when it comes to luggage policy.
Ticketholders are allowed to carry up to 40 kg or 0.5 cubic meters of luggage and can leave it in designated areas. If you are not comfortable with leaving your suitcases unsupervised, you can take them with you upstairs.
We recommend taking your personal items (wallet, mobile phone, keys, etc.) onboard, no matter where you want to place your baggage during the crossing.
Traveling with a car
Both ferries reaching Chania boast large garages, able to transfer hundreds of vehicles. Therefore, it is possible to take your car or motorbike with you to Chania after booking a separate ticket for it.
Drivers must be at the gate of departure at least one hour before the ship starts to sail.
Entrance to the garage is not permitted in the course of the crossing for security reasons. Note: Many car rental companies do not allow customers to ferry their vehicles. We recommend avoiding purchasing a vehicle ticket before contacting your car rental company.
