Windy and rocky journey
The day I took this ship for a return ferry journey between Chalki and Tilos - a journey of less than an hour - it was windy and had been for a couple of days.
The sea was choppy and it was difficult to stand on the boat.
I wanted to be on deck as this is my best way of dealing with these circumstances. However, there is hardly any seating on deck on this boat - less than 20 seats at a guess - and I was unable to get a seat.
I spent sometime on deck - uncomfortably hanging on to a rail, but I did have to go inside for a lot of the journey as that was too difficult.
I would have preferred a bigger boat with more outside seating no matter what the weather as this is how I prefer to travel on a boat. -
