Provide etickets

Everything was perfect with our trip from Athens to Hydra, however you should provide customers with the option of e-ticket. It is a bit old fashion to make us visit the agency to get our envelope while we had everything else fixed by e-mail.

Unfortunately the booking systems in Greece do not support e-ticketing yet. In order for passengers to board the ferry, they need to have the issued physical tickets at hand. This is not how our company works, but how all travel agencies in Greece work.

Good booking service

On the way TO Santorini the boat didn't work, so it took us 6 hours to get there, instead of 4 and they didn't gave us anything in return, not even an excuse. Also, I don't like the fact that if you buy 3 tickets together, you are not assured to be seated toghether! That's not right! And the staff aren't particularly friendly! The booking service was good. I like that you can deliver the tickets to a Hotel in Athens! Find a way for us customers to print the tickets after buying them online.

Helpful service

Your effort was very helpful with the photos of the agency where we had to go to pick up the tickets (that is how we recognized the agency!). All the booking service was excellent!

Good system

Trip with Aegean Speed was excellent and the facilities on board ok. TV sets in all rooms with idiotic soap operas in Greek are intolerable. Also offer more vegetarian snacks on the ferries. Your system is very good actually. The tickets arrived in England very quickly by courier. I will use your services again.

Tickets mailed to us

I booked flying cat 5 from Volos to Skiathos and Flying Cat 6 from Skiathos to Volos. All bookings were made through your website. The trip was excellent. The boat was on time, the service was good, the crew was polite. The tickets were mailed to my house in advance so everything was ready. The only confusion was that I did not know from where exactly the boat was leaving but the hotel staff helped me. This is our second visit and we plan to return next year again.

Tickets available at ticket office

The tickets were available at the ticket office and we got them two hours before departing. Everything went fine. Some foreigners might find it stressful (like my daughter who was travelling the next day) but I found it quite easy.

Used both pick up and courrier system

We used Blue Star Ferries and Nissos Chios Ferries to get between mainland Greece and the islands of Mykonos and Lesvos. Our trip was great, the ferries were very cold though for so long journeys, especially the overnight trips were very uncomfortable. As for the agent service, picking up our tickets at the central office was very easy. For one of our tickets we were forced to use a courier but all worked fine eventually. Not that stressful as I thought.

Book tickets in pairs

Everything was great but when we ordered our tickets online we thought we had booked the tickets for my wife and I next to each other. When we got on the boat, we realized we were sitting apart from each other. When you book, make sure the seating is clear so that tickets are booked in pairs or groups when needed. There were several people around up that were split up from partners and family members.

This happens when the booking system doesn't find seats one next to the other, so it may pick up seats with distance between them. When there are seats side by side, then these seats are automatically reserved.

Nice system with tickets

Trip was superb (from Santorini to Naxos with return, Blue Star). Ferry was on time and departed on time arriving ahead of time. The staff was very helpful and made for an enjoyable holiday. I ordered the tickets from England and arrived well before departure. Nice system, people!

Very happy with you

I travelled from Kos to Rhodes with Express Dodekanisos. Fine trip, no problem with that, it was also nice that you provide google maps of the travel offices where we pick up the tickets. Good effort people, I am very happy with you!

Better use normal post

I took the Blue Star Ferry from Athens to Santorini and Highspeed 5 from Santorini to Athens. The trip on the Blue Star Ferry took more than 8 hours. I think there have been some delays and it was really uncomfortable. It was really worth paying more for the Highspeed 1, to have comfortable and already assigned seats, and it took only 4,5 hours. As for your service, it was fine but I still think that you don't need to use courrier, the normal one would have been appropriate and more affordable!

We travelled with Hellenic Seaways, Highspeed 4, to Syros. It was a lovely trip with helpful staff. The facilities were of high quality, we have not seen it better! Only perharps better food should be available on board. Thank you for everything, we look forward to use your company next time in Greece.

Excellent super company

I travelled with Hellenic Seaways, Flying Cat 1 to Poros and back. From there, I went sailing for two weeks. Both trips were fine, no delays. Dolphins are getting a bit old though. Toilets were a bit unpleasant. That for the ferry. Your company is excellent. I have been needing your service for years! Absolutely super, I will use you again.

Efficient booking system

This July, I took the Flying Cat from Volos to Skiathos and back. The trip was very good. On time with very helpful, friendly staff. Everywhere was clean and well looked after. Your booking system was also very efficient. The ticket delivery to our home was a true help.
