Luggage
Greek ferry companies have flexible luggage policies.
Each passenger can carry up to 40 kg or 0.5 cubic meters of luggage free of charge.
Furthermore, each ferry has a designated luggage area, where travelers can leave their bulky objects.
We recommend travelers to leave heavy baggage in the designated area but keep items, like their phones, wallets and keys, on them.
Traveling with a car
Conventional ferries can carry vehicles, so taking your car or motorbike to Poros is possible. In order to do that, you have to book a separate ticket for your vehicle.
Drivers need to be at the gate of departure at least one hour in advance. During high season when congestion occurs at the port, the company may ask them to be at the port 1.5 or 2 hours in advance.
Keep in mind that entering the garage is prohibited throughout the crossing. Note: Many car rental companies do not allow customers to ferry their vehicles. We recommend avoiding purchasing a vehicle ticket before contacting your car rental company.
