We don’t just sell ferry tickets. We offer you personalized follow-up and assistance during and after your ticket purchase. Our specialized team is always ready to assist you with issues that might arise and help you get to your destinations safely and with peace of mind. We are here to handle anything that might come up regarding your ferry trip.
Besides the type of ferry, what ultimately determines the price of your ticket is the type of seat you will choose.
Standard/economy seats are the most popular and budget-friendly option. As they are not numbered in conventional ferries, you will have to keep an eye on your seat during the whole journey. Moreover, they cannot be reserved in advance, so we recommend boarding the ferry as early as possible (at least 1 hour before the official departure time) in order to find a comfortable one. Airplane seats, which are comfortable numbered seats located in a separate lounge, are another option.
For luxury travel, there are also business class/VIP seats. Located in a separate lounge, they are more comfortable and less crowded.
On high-speed ferries, all seats are numbered, so a standard ticket corresponds to an airplane seat.
How to find your ferry in the ports of Athens (Rafina and Lavrio)
Both Rafina Port and Lavrio Port are relatively small and do not have any gates, so you will be able to spot your vessel easily.
Don’t get lost! Get our Rafina Port Map and Lavrio Port Map.
As for Andros, the main port is located in Gavrio, nearly 30 kilometers west of Chora, the island’s capital.
Make sure to arrive at the port at least 1 hour ahead of time, as there tends to be a lot of traffic within and around the harbor, especially if you are traveling in high season.

Luggage
Greek ferries have flexible luggage policies.
Most companies allow 40 kg or 0.5 cubic meters of luggage per passenger and provide a luggage storage area on each ferry.
However, if you wish, you can also take your luggage with you to the lounges or the deck (if available).
It is highly recommended to leave bulky suitcases in the designated space and take your personal items (mobile phone, wallet, keys, etc.) with you upstairs.
Traveling with a car
In order to travel by ferry with your car or motorbike, you will need to purchase an additional ticket for your vehicle ahead of time.
Conventional ferries dispose of large garages but bear in mind that, in this case, you ought to be at the harbor 60-90 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
For safety reasons, you will not be allowed to enter the garage while the ferry is sailing. Note: Many car rental companies do not allow customers to ferry their vehicles. We recommend avoiding purchasing a vehicle ticket before contacting the car rental company.
