Note: The AERO Highspeed vessels belong to Hellenic Seaways, but their routes are sold through the Blue Star Ferries network. Both companies are part of Attica Group, meaning ticketing, schedules, and operations are shared across the group’s system.
Routes
The vessel operates throughout the Saronic Gulf, offering fast connections from the port of Piraeus near Athens to the islands of Aegina, Agistri, Poros, Hydra, and Spetses. It also serves the mainland ports of Ermioni and Porto Heli on the Peloponnese. Thanks to these links, travelers can easily move between Athens and the Saronic islands at any time of the year, with more frequent sailings scheduled during the busy summer season.
Among its regular services, the Athens (Piraeus)-Aegina and Athens (Piraeus)-Hydra routes are the most popular, taking roughly 40 minutes and around 1 hour and 40 minutes, respectively. The Athens (Piraeus)-Poros crossing lasts close to 1 hour, while the Athens (Piraeus)-Agistri trip takes around 55 minutes and usually includes a stop at Aegina. Further along the line, the service to Athens (Piraeus)-Spetses takes about 2 hours and 15 minutes, making it one of the longer journeys on the schedule.
The timetable also extends to Ermioni and Porto Heli, offering links to the eastern Peloponnese with travel times ranging from 2 hours and 30 minutes up to about 3 hours and 30 minutes, depending on intermediate stops. For shorter island-to-island connections, such as Poros to Hydra, the sailing time is typically under 1 hour.
All routes are available year-round, though the frequency changes between seasons. During the summer months (June-September), the vessel operates more daily departures on well-traveled lines like Piraeus-Aegina and Piraeus-Hydra. In the winter period, fewer departures are scheduled, and trips to ports such as Porto Heli and Ermioni may run less often or be temporarily removed when demand decreases after early autumn.

Good ride
I took the Aero 2 from Athens to Hydra and it was a great experience. The vessel is comfortable and the ride was smooth. Of course, we were lucky with the weather. The views of the calm sea was also great and relaxing. Will use this ride again
