Very good service. Everything worked well, even when we forgot to do the check-in in one of the boats, the crew solved it and we were able to do our trip. The ships are comfortable and everything went well.

Great service

I booked three ferries with FerriesinGreece in September - October, everything went very smoothly. I managed to mix up my e-mails with the first one, but when the mistake was discovered, they helped me out in no time by sending a text with a code. I also asked about winds and at what wind speed they would cancel the traffic, and I got a reply promptly.
I will definitely use this company for further bookings! I had trouble checking in with another one in June.
The only thing I’d say on the negative side is that the tickets are rather expensive. I’m ok as I planned a journey, but I hope there are bonus programs for locals who might need to travel often.

Easy to Book

I booked many ferries whilst island hopping. Booking was really easy and details of boarding gates was provided on ticket.
Some services were excellent in that staff helped with luggage. Other crossings, especially those that were on a fast turnaround, felt as if you were being herded. However, having said all of this, the ferry system is slick, modern and very efficient.

The best way to see Greece

We booked 4 trips: Athens to Santorini, Santorini to Crete, Crete to Mykonos, and Mykonos back to Athens. We'd never been to Greece and were apprehensive about how easy or difficult this would be (we're very accustomed to train travel but there was no reason to believe this would work in exactly the same way... and it didn't!).

The communication from FerriesinGreece was very clear and timely: we got plenty of notifications via text and email and never had any problems understanding the directions.

The loading and unloading process for the ferries was chaotic but fairly easy—that's people being people and there was a little "everyone for themselves" attitude by some of them. The service onboard SeaJets was excellent: a nice selection at the snack bars of food and drink, purchasing WiFi was easy (2€ for 3 hours which was just under what we needed from and to Athens but otherwise fine) and one of the counter staff who worked on 3 of our trips remembered me from the first one and greeted me! I'm not sure why the monitors were showing a video of The History Channel twaddle (it was clearly a recording because all 4 trips in the span of 7 days had exactly the same videos every time) but I wasn't there to watch TV. Definitely how we will travel again when I come back to Greece—which we plan to do.
