    The booking went alright, but there was no option for choosing seats, so me and my husband ended with horrible seats, especially on the way back - 5 hours stuck in a corner behind the bar pushed into a wall and we weren't even next to each other. No, we both were stuck in a wall one behind other.
    We travelled all the way from Milos to Piraeus, there were a few stops in between, people were debarking and embarking all the time, but it was us who travelled all the way while long stuck in that corner. Very, very disappointing. It was so ridiculous, I was shocked.

    Thanks for your feedback. At the moment, the ferry companies don’t offer online seat selection. The technology exists, but it isn’t being used yet. We expect to introduce this option with some companies next year.

    In 15 days we took 3 ferries. The first from Piraeus to Paros, the second from Paros to Ios, and finally the return from Ios to Piraeus. Very comfortable trips, especially the first two. Unfortunately, we didn't enjoy the last one because it was freezing cold! The air conditioning was extremely high, and we caught a bad cold and sore throat, even though we were well covered.

    For our trip between Volos and Skiathos, we used FerriesInGreece. The booking process was straightforward, and the timely email reminders ensured everything went smoothly. We booked two passenger tickets along with a vehicle. The journey from Volos to Skiathos was seamless.

    However, on the return trip, we encountered an issue. While completing the online check-in, we were able to check in only the two passengers, with no option to check in the car. Immediately, I contacted customer support. A courteous representative promptly reviewed our booking and confirmed the same issue on her end. Noting that our round-trip booking included the vehicle, she advised us to visit the ferry ticket office to print all the tickets. She explained that the booking was correctly registered in the system, but there appeared to be a malfunction in the online check-in service.

    Following her guidance, we printed the tickets at the ferry office without further complications. Although the issue was resolved satisfactorily thanks to the helpful customer support team, the experience was somewhat stressful and left a less favorable impression.

    We kindly urge the FerriesInGreece IT department to investigate and resolve this technical glitch to prevent similar inconveniences for future passengers.

    Ferry was canceled without any prior notice! No email, no SMS, no phone call… nothing! In fact, we were even allowed to check in the day before with no issues and received a confirmation email stating the check-in was successful! No seats were available on the next day's ferry because it was full. This forced us to take a 12-hour journey in rough seas — a nightmare we won’t forget anytime soon. We had to make several transfers between ferries just to catch our connecting flight the next day in Athens. We also lost a prepaid hotel night in Athens. The vacation was completely ruined.

    Please note that in cases of cancellations due to weather conditions, this decision is made by the port authorities for passenger safety just a few hours before departure. In such cases, the ferry company notifies passengers directly via SMS, rather than informing travel agencies by email, to save time.
    We are truly sorry for this inconvenience. However, in such cases of force majeure, it sometimes happens that we at Ferriesingreece.com are not informed by the ferry company in time to alert our customers.
    As mentioned in your email communication with our reservations department, we have already refunded the full amount you paid for this booking. Additionally, as a gesture of goodwill, we have exceptionally refunded the service fees, which are normally non-refundable.
