Lack of communication
The ferry rides themselves were okay. However we almost missed our ferry because the gate didn't have any instructions concerning where you're supposed to wait for your ferry. I'm pretty sure that a couple of tourist actually missed the ferry because of this. I'd suggest that you give people a map of the gate and where to wait for the vessel. Also it was ridiculous to have to wait more than 30 minutes in the office for the tickets. Why can't you allow people to print their own tickets? Having to line up that long when you have already purchased the tickets is redundant.

Thank you for your feedback. We are glad that you did not miss the ferry. As per the email instructions that we sent you on the 9th of July the vessels to Agistri depart from Gate E9 of Piraeus port and once somebody is there, it is easy to see where the Flying Dolphin that you had booked and was also stated on your booking confirmation, is docked. We have also forwarded your review to the ferry company, Blue star ferries, in order to check the possibility of providing further information and instructions within the port.
We are sorry to hear that you had to wait for half an hour to receive the boarding cards, it is common now in the high season that there is much traffic at the port and this is the reason that we always recommend to be on the port at least one hour in advance.
Unfortunately, not all the ferry companies offer the web check-in option yet, but we hope this will be available in the near future. -
Smooth & easy to use but seat allocation confusing
We used FerriesinGreece to book our ferries around the islands before we left Australia, as there were six of us traveling. The service was reliable and easy to use and we got where we needed to go.
Further info would have been useful on:
On time performance. Our ferry choice was consistently late and it impacted our trip. Apparently, this had been happening all season. Other services were not as bad, it would have been good to see this in the booking options.
Also, seating selection. It was confusing on the boats as they were allocated seating but the staff didn’t always enforce it. We booked so we could sit together but were not always allocated together either. It would be good to be able to choose seats. Also one of our ships had first class but it wasn’t available to us in the booking. And generally more information. Like whether your big bags are stored on the vehicle deck, where you line up, how you find out if your ferry is late, etc. Overall though, we got tickets and it worked.

Thank you for your feedback. It is highly appreciated in order to improve our services.
We contacted Seajets to find out about the delays that you faced and as per their information, these were due to high winds that made the vessels have to go slower for security reasons on both your trips. In such case regrettably, it is not possible to inform the passengers via email or SMS since it is too late to do so after departure time.
Concerning the seating allocation, kindly note that the passengers of the same booking are automatically booked on consequent seats upon availability. Unfortunately, in high season it is common that six consequent seats are not available, and in such case, some of the passengers of the same booking may be separated. Unfortunately, the central ferry booking system of Greece, Liknoss, does not provide yet the option to select seats via their web services. The same happened with the first class that was already fully booked at the moment of your booking.
We are happy that overall it worked fine for you. -
Everything worked fine

We have booked a total of 4 trips, everything worked fine.
The ferries were punctually on time, but the delay was due to the sea. -
Boats in Greece
[Translated from French]
Excellent online booking service. Delivery of tickets by mail exceedingly fast. Follow-up related to the change of boats by email very appreciated.
On the other hand, the boats were often late and in a hurry to leave. On one trip, there were a lot of waves, you should predict a medicine against seasickness. -
Very convenient

Very practical service to make several islands, no complications. Fast and effective. -
Wonderful Service
This is the second time I have used Ferries in Greece ordering my tickets online and travelling on their ferries. Their customer service is excellent and prompt. All the ferries we took were very nice and on time and the entire process of embarking and disembarking was very well organized. I highly recommend them and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Easy and stress-free ferries
Booking with ferriesinGreece made the process super easy. We travelled from Athens Rafina to Santorini, then to Ios and finally on to Athens Piraeus. We preordered tickets and they were delivered within a day of ordering them. The process was stress free, the tickets were a good price and the ferries comfortable! Would definitely recommend booking via ferriesinGreece when planning a trip!

2 good ships out of 3

Ferriesingreece is a great site. Good contact, easy booking. That was great.
Naxos Jet (Sea Jets) is comfortable and everything was impeccable. Between me and my husband was the corridor and we could then choose other seats at the window. Bistro offers were not so good.
Supercat (Golden Star) was the best, but the organization on board was poor. Luggage in the corridors, emergency exits ...
Tera Jet (Sea Jets) was huge, good bistro. Passenger rooms not very comfortable. -
Impeccable

Easy booking on the site and withdrawal of tickets just before taking the boat, on the pier. Comfortable boat and at time, no complaints! -

Everything was great

The information on the homepage as well as the booking process and the customer service by mail for inquiries were great. On the trips (we had several trips) everything was great. Only once the WiFi did not work an a boat, but this is the only criticism. -
Easy booking
[Translated from German]
On the homepage, which is very clear, we have booked tickets for 3 ferry routes. The pick up in the respective offices near the harbor went very well. It was peak season, the pre-booking was very relaxing. Homepage is very uncomplicated. A question by mail would be answered quickly. We were very satisfied with Ferriesingreece and can only recommend. -
Very convenient

The online booking was very simple as well as getting the tickets to the Heraklion agency. Very comfortable boat even without a cabin. -
OK but not accurate
Our ticket was issued with timings from last year’s timetable, meaning the ferry we were actually booked onto was an hour later than advertised, paid for and planned around. Otherwise fine.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear about the delay that you faced on the specific date. We contacted the ferry company and they informed us that indeed there was a delay of 40 minutes in your trip.
This was not because our schedules were of last years’. In April when you made the booking the scheduled departure time for this trip was at 13:30 and this is automatically given from the central ferry booking system of Greece, ForthCrs. Later on the ferry company changed this departure to be 40 minutes later and due to miscommunication we were not correctly informed about this change in order to inform you on time.
We are very happy that despite this delay everything was fine with your trip.
Always at your disposal.
