Great site, user friendly and very informative to book tickets, The one and only suggestion I would have is to issue the tickets online as it will save our trouble of going early to the ferry offices to get our tickets issued.

Great site, but not all ferries are equal

This seems to be the best and most popular site for booking ferries in Greece.
However, not all ferries are equal. Some service providers are more on-time than others. Request Ferries-in-Greece user ratings on on-time performance of the various lines. That would be a great help to the users.

Could be better

Bought with additional service fee which should allow for cancellations/modifications, but there is no section on this website that allows you to check/modify your booking. Very inconvenient.

Thank you for your feedback.We would like to inform you that the cancellation policies differ between each ferry company and furthermore in order to change or cancel any tickets we need to have the physical ones in our hands (required by ferry companies' policies) and this is the reason that such application that could allow you to make a cancellation or modification yourself on line, is very difficult to be set up and therefore does not exist on any website handling Greek ferry tickets.
Our passengers are welcome though to inform us what kind of change or cancellation they want via email as also clearly stated on the booking confirmation email that is automatically received and we reply it accordingly depending on when the trips are, with which companies and if they already have the tickets at hand or not. We reply emails within the same day.
We always remain at your disposal for any further information.

This site is the best I have found to book my trips. With our confirmation, we had several choices to collect our tickets. I booked 3 routes for April and May and all went well. Ferriesingreece informed us that on May 1st, there could be a strike and advised us to change our trip for the day before or after, which we did. And there was indeed a strike on that day!

At the end of February 2018 starting from FerriesInGreece website, we booked 4 trips for 2 people with departures scheduled in April.
We found the website well designed and easy to use. The ticket booking forms were complete and accurate, the address of the places we would get the tickets from at the ports of the different islands is clearly indicated.
During our trip, we were informed by mail sufficiently in advance of a minor change of boat and schedule. The requests for information we asked were processed in less than a day with precise answers (thank you Eleni ..)
No problem during our ferry crossings on time (very good weather) and attentive staff was not bad surprise to note. This first experience is very positive for us.

We booked five different ferries before we left Australia. It was all very easy. You just present the email confirmation at the port office and they give you the tickets.

Easy booking, and reliable! Recommended for anyone who wanna travel around the islands, and pre book the ticket before hand to make the queue move faster. It only took less than 5mins to get the ticket printed. And is much safer to get it at the ticketing office.

Really enjoyed the ferry ride, it was perfect! Everything was very easy to book, clear instructions were given as to where we should put bags, where we should go to sit, which restaurants were open, etc. With so much being unknown while traveling abroad, it was wonderful to have an easy experience where everything was clear.
