We booked on the internet a round trip to Sifnos. The trip was very nice and good. very good service and very efficient. The ferry is very comfortable.And our familay had a goog time. We will take the ferry again on future trips in Greece/

Delayed ferry

I booked 3 ferries with Ferriesingreece.com. The booking was very simple and the shipment was great - arrived on time and very efficiently. Two of the ferries were fabulous, however, I was very disappointed with the SeaJet I ferry from Mykonos to Santorini. The ferry was late and the boarding was done so quickly that by the time we realized which ferry it was it was leaving. There was no warning that the ship was leaving and when we asked to switch our tickets to the next ship we were told we had to purchase a brand new ticket. I must say I was very disappointed, we were there well in advance of the ship leaving, it was not at the dock it said it would be at and delayed and then to not communicate to us the new dock and how quickly it would depart.

Kindly note that all the ferries just stop at each port to disembark and embark to continue their route to the next island and to stick to their schedule. Thus this embarkation process lasts around 15 minutes which is enough to embark if you are on the port on time and as we instruct in our booking confirmation one hour before departure time. Furthermore we contacted Seajets and there was no change in the vessel that you departed with. It was Champion Jet 1 which is clearly written on the vessel so it is clear on which vessel you need to embark and in accordance to your boarding cards and booking confirmation. All vessels from Mykonos depart from the new port except some small catamarans as also explained in your booking confirmation. In accordance to the terms and conditions of all Greek ferry companies no refund can be made after departure time.

Flight missed and extra charges

On September 6th my husband and I were scheduled to travel from Foleandros to Santorini, by ferry, and then catch a plane to Athens. Our ferry was disabled and another boat was sent an hour and a half later. We were required to travel to Naxos, change boats and then continue on to Santorini. Not only did we miss our flight to Athens, which cost us 120 euros when we had to change our flight, we were also charged an additional 17 euros for the trip to Naxos, which we were forced to make. This is not the way to breed good will with your customers!

As Seajets informed us this change occurred last minute due to the fact that the Seajets 2 vessel with which you were supposed to travel had an accident and this was the reason that we were not informed about this on an earlier date in order to be able to make other arrangements on time. Please note that in the case that extra charges have occurred due to this, Seajets wishes to receive in written to the following emails: info@seajets.gr and reservations@seajets.gr an email directly from the passenger with receipts of the extra charges that occurred (eg. boarding cards of the missed flight and new tickets bought proving the rate difference or receipt) so that they can handle the request directly with you from their complaints department. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

From the very first e-mail until the final drop-off at our hotel, our entire experience with Ferries in Greece was simply great. The communication was done easily and professionally via e-mail (all my questions were always in less that half a day friendly and clearly answered). Their pick-up - drop-off service was perfectly on time and the driver made everything possible to keep us as comfortable as possible. The best part of all was, of course, the cruise itself. We booked a semi-private sunset cruise and could not hope for anything better. Really nice catamaran, very friendly staff, exceptional food (!! really one of our best meals in Greece) and perfect scenery. We are doing it again next year and we are bringing friends with us!
